Inspired by runner Holland Reynolds!

Click this to watch this incredible video about Holland Reynolds. "Runner Crawls Across The Finish Line"

This 16 year old struggled in her race and by all means had every right to drop out but she crawled across the finish line!

We can learn so much from others.
Our youth have as much to teach us and to inspire us as anyone else, are you paying attention? :)

Watching this video was not only greatly inspiring but Holland and her coach reinforced some very valuable lessons.

Get in the game
Stay in the game, keep moving forward,
Give it all you have
Give it your best
Finish what you start

Your attitude / your mindset do make a difference

Don't worry about what others will think if your best isn't the best in comparison of others
Don't worry about what others will think about how you do things as long as you know you are doing your best
Do things for yourself as well as for your team.
Sometimes when we might quit on ourselves if we have a team that cares and is routing for us it gives us that extra drive to do it for everyone (yourself and the team)

Have a strong coach in your corner
Have a coach that celebrates your successes as your own, is inspired by you as well as inspiring to you.
Have a coach and a team that recognizes your strengths and supports you and cheers you on.
Have a strong supportive team

Be surrounded by those that support and inspire you
Be inspired and learn by the efforts as well as by the accomplishments of others.

I'm sure this list could go on but life really is much more simple than most realize and with the right things in place you can accomplish far more with ease than you might realize.

Although Holland struggled there in her race, it would have been so hard that it would have been impossible if she didn't have those other factors in place.
(mindset, coach, team, drive, etc).

From what I could tell, Holland didn't finish because she was afraid people would be disappointed in her but rather she finished because she wanted to give the team more to celebrate about.

What is your take on this video?
How did it affect you?
What did you learn from it?

I'm excited to hear what you think!

Holland Reynolds thank you for living your life and giving it your best! You inspire me and teach me beyond your years. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Jim Tracy, Coach of Holland I thank you as well for your contribution life. When you mentioned that "if she wont give up, then I'm not" (I'm not sure that's an exact quote), I think you said it all! This is the value of learning from others and allowing yourself to be inspired by others.

Namaste

Have a very beautiful day.
